Summer Term Announcements

Attendance will be taken starting from the first class of the term. To meet the attendance requirement, students must attend at least 48 hours out of a total of 72 hours of classes. Medical reports cannot be used for exemption from absences.
A total of 5 quizzes will be given at the end of Tuesday classes each week, except for the first week.
If a student is not present during attendance, their quiz will not be evaluated. Therefore, it is your responsibility to check whether your attendance has been recorded on Kepler immediately after scanning your card. Objections regarding attendance after the class will not be considered.
One make-up quiz will be given in the last week of the term. No attendance requirement is needed to take the make-up quiz.
When calculating the quiz grade, the highest 5 grades from the quizzes taken during the term will be considered.
Students who do not take the midterm exam and/or do not meet the attendance requirement will receive a letter grade of VF.
The final success grade will be calculated according to the weights of 40% midterm exam, 20% quizzes, and 40% final exam.
